The Associate Director of Rewards plays a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing the organisation's total rewards strategy. This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in compensation and benefits, benchmarking, and a deep understanding of market trends. The individual will collaborate with senior leadership to ensure the company's rewards programs attract, retain, and motivate top talent while maintaining competitiveness within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Total Rewards Strategy:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive total rewards strategy aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.
    • Collaborate with HR leadership to ensure the total rewards strategy supports the overall talent management strategy.
  • Compensation Design and Management:
    • Lead the design and implementation of competitive and effective compensation programs.
    • Conduct market analyses and benchmarking studies to ensure the organization's compensation remains competitive in the industry.
    • Oversee salary structures, incentive programs, and other compensation-related initiatives.
  • Benchmarking and Market Intelligence:
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging practices related to compensation and benefits.
    • Utilize market intelligence to make data-driven recommendations for adjustments to the organization's compensation and benefits package.
    • Executive Compensation:
      • Develop and manage executive compensation programs, including base salary, bonuses, and long-term incentives.
      • Ensure executive compensation practices align with corporate governance principles and regulatory requirements.
    • Benefits Administration:
      • Oversee the design and administration of employee benefits programs, including health, wellness, retirement, and other perks.
      • Collaborate with benefits providers to optimize offerings and ensure cost-effectiveness.
    • Policy Development and Compliance:
      • Develop, review, and update compensation and benefits policies to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
      • Stay informed about changes in labor laws and regulations affecting compensation practices.
    • Communication and Education:
      • Develop communication strategies to effectively communicate changes in compensation and benefits programs to employees.
      • Provide education and training to HR professionals and managers on compensation-related matters.
    • Data Analysis and Reporting:
      • Analyze compensation data and metrics to identify trends, make recommendations, and support data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., Certified Compensation Professional) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a senior compensation role, with a focus on designing and managing total rewards programs.
  • Minimum of 9-12 years of experience will be preferred.
  • Strong understanding of compensation and benefits regulations and market trends.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret and present complex data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to manage and develop a team.
