Finance Operation Analyst

As our Finance Operation Analyst, you will be involved in providing financial, administrative, and clerical support to the organization, completing payments, and controlling expenses by receiving payments, plus processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. This role requires someone with strong analytical skills who is comfortable working across multiple functional areas in a fast-paced, challenging environment.

Responsibilities:-

  • Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
  • Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
  • Maintaining historical records duly tied with reported numbers.
  • Paying employees by verifying expense reports and preparing paychecks.
  • Paying vendors by scheduling paychecks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor inquiries regarding finance.
  • Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports
  • Continuing to improve the payment process. Ensures vendor account maintenance is kept accurate.
  • Support on an as-needed basis; bank and treasury functions, month-end reports, expense report reviews, bank wires, and overall backup for other AP team members.
  • Prepares reports, and provides information to identify purchasing requirements and to
  • communicate and report performance against plans and business objectives.
  • Manages projects and activities to ensure conformance to plans and timely and effective achievement of results.
  • Participate in Accounts Payable monthly close process such as posting expense accruals and reconciling journal entries, and invoices, and verifying balances to the general ledger.
  • Communicate in writing, through email, reports, or orally, accounting and financial reporting matters.

Requirements

  • 5 - 7 years of experience in a Finance Ops role.
  • Oracle hands-on experience
  • Monthly Reconciliation expertise
  • Independent approach to close multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of GST & TDS provisions
  • Clear & soft communicator
