Manager - Reporting

The finance team maintains stringent internal controls across accounting, finance, tax, and compliance. The team works on direct and indirect taxes which mainly include corporate taxes, GST, transfer pricing, etc. Other regular activities also include day-to-day accounting, & revenue accounting. Responsible for owning all accounting operational activities like MIS, Balance sheet, P&L, and revenue recognition.

● Ensuring strong process controls over financial transactions and reporting.

● Payment Gateway & another reconciliation process.

● Preparing budget Vs Actual reports for monthly PL and sharing the variances with the Management & Department heads to highlight the differences.

● Liaise with the auditors, consultants, and the different functions for smooth operations of the activities.

● Checking, reviewing, and posting of all invoices and posting the same in ERP along with supporting documents including statutory compliances like TDS, Equalization Levy, GST including Reverse Charge Mechanism.

● Ensuring intercompany and inter-business unit transactions are accounted for correctly and promptly.

● Assisting in making all statutory compliances of the company on or before the due date.

● Assisting in Internal, Statutory, and IFC audits and monthly compliances.

● Processing foreign remittance & related FEMA compliances

● Creditors aging and Payouts.

● Checking and Posting employee reimbursements into the ERP system.

● Maintaining the correctness and arithmetical accuracy of the accounting entries in ERP.

● Knowing advanced excel and PowerPoint

Requirements

  • Able to manage the budget & MIS process efficiently and coordinate with multiple teams within the company.
  • Ability to plan, guide, and coordinate all operational functions in an ERP environment.
  • Process oriented and capable of assessing, recommending & implementing accounting operations and internal controls.
  • Experience in day-to-day operations including accounting and compliances, experience in a comparable organization, preferably an MNC in India, and Strong Accounting Knowledge along with Analytical Skills.
  • MBA with a minimum of 7-8 years of overall experience or a CA with a minimum of 4 years exp in corporate finance & at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Good to Have:

● Experience in Implementing ERP would be an added advantage.

● Exposure to Product / Start-up environment
