Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated SVP/Chief Data Officer to lead our business intelligence, data analytics, data engineering, and data science initiatives. You will be responsible for developing and executing our data strategy to drive business growth.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data initiatives & deliver solutions and drive data-based actionable decisions. We are looking for a highly motivated data professional with a passion for gaming and the ability to lead data-driven initiatives for this exciting opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with our business objectives and goals
- Successfully conceptualize, develop, and deploy advanced analytics solutions in a high-performing environment
- Lead the Business Intelligence, data analytics, data engineering and data science teams.
- Lead best practices on data governance, data quality, data security, data integrations, data storage and data management
- Provide insights and analysis to support data-driven decision-making across the organization
- Develop reporting dashboard KPIs and monitor them diligently to quickly assess problems and solve them quickly
- Overseeing the creation, maintenance, and optimization of data models that provide insight into your organization's data. This includes conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling. You should be familiar with the different types of data models and their respective use cases
- Analyzing large datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and insights. Proficiency in statistical analysis, machine learning techniques, and data visualization tools to help make sense of the data
- Detail-oriented and must have an aptitude for solving unstructured problems. You should work in a self-directed environment, own tasks and drive them to completion
- Hands-on with big data technologies and able to guide the team through technical leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to identify and prioritize data initiatives and alignment of our data strategy

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- 15+ years of experience in data analytics, engineering, or science, with a focus on driving business growth
- Strong knowledge of data analytics tools and techniques, including data mining, machine learning, and statistical analysis
- Experience in leading data engineering and data science teams
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership
- Display strong storytelling and articulation skills to convert the analytical output into clear, concise and persuasive insights and recommendations for a technical and non-technical audience
- Create advanced reports and dashboards to facilitate faster decision making
- Should have expert knowledge in at least one of the statistical soft wares - SAS, SQL, R, Python, Excel VBA, BI platforms (Tableau, Qlikview)
- Experience in the gaming or entertainment industry is a plus
